High Street New Malden
This was our 1st big project. It was existing Block with Ground floor Commercial and 1st, 2nd, 3rd floor Office. A traditional building with Brick-Block structure, Holowcore floor. We had to do a fair amount of structural modification to maximise the area for Residential use. The building was converted into a total of 19 Self-contained flats. key activities were as follows:
- Structural changes.
- New insulated roof.
- Insulation of existing external walls.
- Secondary glazing.
- External re-wamp.
The building was completed with the following key features:
- New services “Water & Electric”.
- Acoustic Walls & ceilings.
- Fire-rated doors.
- Mechanical Ventilation <heat recovery system>.
- Mechanical Smoke ventilation.
- Video Inter-com.
- Remote door access.
- Communal Dual Satelite-terrestrial-DAB & Telephone lines System.
- Studio flats, 1-bed flats, 2 Bed Flats.
- Shared bathroom & En-Suite.
- Fully Fitted Kitchen with built-in appliances.
- Communal Fire Alarm System.
- Smoke & Heat detection in each flat.
- Laminate Floor etc.
